When researching this feature I wanted to find artwork with some 'punch' as well as some humour, if possible. I came across Charlotte's work via the Open Houses in Brighton and remembered it. When it came time to do this story on diabetes, diet and education, some of her illustrations were perfect -- fun, smart, colourful and had both people and food items in them.
